Where to Start Paring Back the Overgrown Federal Government? | National Review


There are many, many places, but law professor Rob Natelson, writing for the Tenth Amendment Center, suggests axing the Center for Disease Control and National Institutes of Health.

Under the Constitution, health matters are state issues, and both the CDC and NIH, which are federal agencies, have become deeply politicized, Natelson observes. Gun violence and racism aren’t health matters at all, but are parts of the leftist project of shackling us with omnipotent government.
