SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (WANH) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home was reportedly vandalized over night, according to TMZ … most of the damage was done to her garage door and driveway. The “artists” spray-painted “Cancel Rent!” and “We Want Everything” in big black letters on her door … and there’s also a nod to the failed $2,000 government stimulus checks.
This has the fingerprints of ANTIFA written all over it.
There is also a movement to cancel rent during the pandemic, which has been championed by the likes of Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that officers responded to a vandalism call at Pelosi’s home around 3 a.m. Friday, and a report was taken. It’s unclear if there are any suspects.
Dennis, chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party, who ran against Pelosi in California’s 12th Congressional District in November, took a picture of the garage, which has since been covered up, and blamed “the violent left”.
“Lunatics leave pigs head & graffiti at Nancy Pelosi’s house,” he tweeted.
People across the country expressed outrage at the insulting $600 direct stimulus checks, which passed with the COVID-19 relief package Donald Trump signed last weekend, criticizing both Democrats and Republicans for failing to address the extreme financial precarity so many are facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Both Trump and Joe Biden called for the checks to be increased to $2,000.
While Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell killed the final hope for a $2,000 stimulus check, Nancy Pelosi spent the months leading up to the November election passing up on COVID-19 relief bills that included more direct aid to Americans.
